5 Ways To Make Your Work or School Week Easier
Alexis Noelle
When Im not being a complete lazy bum after work, there are some ritual things I like to do before bed that will make me feel ready and prepared for the next day. (Also definitely helps with my anxiety because you know us girls struggle with that pretty commonly).
Here are a few things you can do to prepare yourself for your next day of work, school, or just daily life in general. I promise these things will not only make you feel like a healthier person, but just the feeling of productivity will make you feel good and energized.
Here are a few things you can do to prepare yourself for your next day of work, school, or just daily life in general. I promise these things will not only make you feel like a healthier person, but just the feeling of productivity will make you feel good and energized.
1. Pick out your outfit.
Picking out my outfit the day before school or work has always made me feel so prepared for the day ahead of me. Sometimes you wake up and forget what is clean or dirty, or you just have so many clothes you are overwhelmed (which sounds like a good problem to have to me). Pick out your outfit the night before so you can throw it on and head out the door. I even pick out my accessories as well and keep them in one spot so I am not searching everywhere for that one earring I cant find.
2. Shake it out.
So this may seem like a weird or uncommon thing for most girls to do, but I promise you will feel so much better about yourself. I personally am pretty insecure about my arms, but I have so many sleeveless shirts that are adorable! I recently bought a shake weight....yeah, ya know that thing you see on TV. Well it works! You literally only have to use the shake weight for 6 minutes a day and you see results in a matter of weeks!
3. Whiten those teeth.
Having a bright smile instantly makes your day feel more positive. You can get some Crest White Strips from almost any pharmacy or department store. Pop those suckers on for 30 minutes a night and watch your smile begin to shine a little brighter.
4. Read.
Reading is one of the most healthiest things you can do for your mind and spirit. If you are spiritual, read a daily devotional before you go to bed. It literally take one minute and puts your soul in a good place before you end your day. If you arent spiritual, grab a self help book and read 30 minutes or one chapter a night. There are THOUSANDS of books out there for every one's situation in life, and trust me they DO work.
5. Self Tan.
This step isnt all that necessary, but if you are tan freak like me it for sure is. I personally feel more confident when im tan, so I use Loving Tan Self Tanning Mouse in shade dark. The next day you look like a sun goddess ready to take on anything.
Of course all of these steps are completely necessary to prepare you for your day. Some people have their priorities and responsibilities together, not so much like myself, but if I can pass on any helpful tips...im here for it.
