That Girl Who Decorates Way Too Early For Christmas
Alexis Noelle
The year is basically a huge blur up until Christmas time for me. The holiday season has always placed a huge home in my heart my entire life. Growing up the holidays were the one time of year that my entire family could get together and manage to stay along. So when the end of the year starts to creep up, I get a little bit excited...
I decided to take the bull by the horns this year and begin my Christmas a little early...if a month early is considered "a little early". Oh well, my motto is do what makes you happy, so if that means being the first one with a Christmas tree up in your hometown, so be it.
In past years I usually would just put up a mini Christmas tree in my room, but with my work bonus already in hand, it was time to step it up.
First stop: Hobby Lobby.
Hobby Lobby is not only just every sorority girls dream, but a jack pot for holiday spirit. Almost immediately everything Christmas is put on sale. I got a 7' tree, a star, multiple ornaments, and more for under $200!
TJ Maxx is not only my all time favorite store, but another great stop for holiday items...and for cheap! I managed to scoop some adorable glittery red ornaments, two cute as pie snowflake mugs, and some other decor suitable for my apartment.
The mugs and tree glasses are perfect for any company I may have during the season!
Another great place to check out is surprisingly both Cracker Barrel and The Dollar General. Yes, I said Dollar General. Cracker Barrel is definitely not as affordable as The Dollar General but they stock up big time for Christmas! You can find holiday clothes, decor, candy, ornaments, candles, and more. The Dollar General also usually offers a great variety of Christmas things. I have found amazing smelling air fresheners and candles there before that lasted me through the season.
Anyways! Check out how my tree managed to turn out. Ive lately been obsessed with the color red, and this tree immediately transformed my apartment! You can easily have a beautiful Christmas tree this year with the right shopping guide for under $200!!
Hope you like it!
xoxo
