2018 was my year of constant excuses and dreaming about where I wanted to be physically, but doing nothing about it. This year, the excuses stop. For so long I have envisioned where I want to be physically. Every girl wants to be Instagram model worthy, they dream, they want, but they dont do. That was my problem. So here begins my fitness journey...

I've never really been confident with my body. I always want to hide my arms and wear black jeans so my legs look a little bit skinnier.

After a sequence of life changing events, I decided it was time to make a change. With every change, comes goals. So I set some pretty realistic goals for myself.

First, I wanted an easy to follow, yet intense workout guide. Throughout college I always heard my sorority sisters talking about how great the Kayla Itsiness programs were. I downloaded the Kayla Itsiness Sweat App. This App is perfect for beginners who want to work out in the gym or at home. It is super easy to follow and shows you exactly how to do the workouts. I highly recommend giving it a try!

So far I am in my second week of the program, and I already feel so much better! Confidence is everything.

Obviously with losing weight comes eating healthier. In college I tried eating organic foods, cooking low calorie meals, but nothing seemed to work. I finally decided to try an actual weight loss program. So I began weight watchers. If you've read any of my earlier blogs, you would know Ive actually been on weight watchers for some time. For a little while I kinda ran off course and took a few steps back. I am now being as strict as possible with the program and cooking weight watchers friendly recipes! This program really works well and I highly recommend it to anyone who cant seem to lose weight when trying to eat right!

Motivation also plays a HUGE role with fitness. And lemme tell ya....I have NONE. Luckily, I work at an apartment complex that has a pretty nice gym, so instead of going home after work and getting a little too comfy on the couch, I immediately hit the gym as soon as I clock out. Once you get started, its not so bad! If you need help with motivation, save a picture of someone's body that you desire to look at. Most people are always on their phones, so every time you pick it up, you are reminded of that goal you set out to achieve!
