Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer Stick Review- Influenster Unboxing!
Alexis Noelle
For the last few months I have been receiving the most generous boxes of goodies from a company called Influenster. If you arent familiar with what Influenster is, it is a company that sends free products to people in return for an honest review via Instagram and other social platforms.
When I opened this month's box, I'm not going to lie I was pretty excited. Not only do I love Marc Jacob's products, but I just ran out of my Tarte Shape Tape the day upon receiving this. So this package was greatly appreciated.
The PR team beautifully packaged the product. It's actually funny because I truly wonder if people really care about the packaging of products. But with beauty products I feel like the packaging is just as important. Funny how marketing works. haha (my geeky marketing background coming out..)
Marc Jacobs also has a way of making their products feel so heavy and luxurious..like I should be grateful Im even using the product on my peasant face. Lol
So before applying the concealer, I covered my face with Too Faced Born This Way Foundation. I applied an even amount to both under eyes and blended it with a beauty blender (this is how I always do my makeup). I could tell the concealer was creasing some right under the eyelash line, but no big deal this typically happens with me. I then set my face with Kody Airspun.
So before I go into how I liked the product I want to point out the price of this concealer.
You can purchase this product from Sephora for $32.00.
Honestly, that isnt as bad as I thought it would be. I buy Tarte Shape Tape for $27.00, which typically runs about $29.00 with tax. BUT when you compare how much product you are receiving in comparison...HONEY, NO.
Marc Jacobs Accomplice gives you .17 oz of product, which Tarte Shape Tape gives you .33 oz of product.
So, all in all. The concealer is good. Is it better than Shape Tape? No. Save your money babes.
xoxo,
Alexis
