Alexis Noelle
Happy December 12th my friends!! Today marks the 25th year of my time here on this crazy earth. And I've said it before, and Ill say it again. Im f**king old.
Everyone knows that the older you get, the less exciting your birthdays become. As im writing this blog post im sitting in my local Starbucks, pretending I have a huge day planned full of booze and celebration. ha yeah right.
So, it would only be fit to list 25 little things I have learned about life. Things that have made me into the girl I am today. I know im still growing and learning...honestly, I may be having that mid 20's life crisis, but hey, atleast I look good going through it. LOL
1. Girls suck, and only few can be trusted. (really im referring to the hundreds of bullshit friends ive gone through in my life... keep the loyal ones around.)
2. Always trust your gut instinct.
3.Don't be naive. Everyone does not have your best interest at heart.
4. It is ok to wear your heart on your sleeve.
5. Listen to your parents.
6. Going off #5, dont ever throw a party at your parents house when they are out of town...
7. Do everything in your power to pursue your dreams and passions.
8. Do something every day that will lead to self-development.
9. Open a savings account, and start contributing to it TODAY.
10. The hard times will only lead to great times.
11. If you love him, be with him, and only him.
12. CNN is fake news.
13. Dogs make everything better.
14. Rush AOll.
15. Cherish every moment of high school and college.
16. Go on a mission trip with your church or volunteer, it will make you see life differently.
17. Visit your grandparents every opportunity you have.
18. Learn how to cook.... (im still working on this one lol)
19. Miracles do happen.
20. Think for yourself, dont believe everything you read online.
21. Travel as much and as often as you can.
22. If it doesnt make you happy, change it.
23. Avoid toxic relationships.
24. Pray everyday.
25. The gym is your friend.
I hope these life lessons may have enlightened you even just a little. From someone who has been through a lot in life already at such a young age, I promise these things will help you.
Have a GREAT day!
