Over the last few years the beauty industry has evolved SO much! They pretty much have an easier technique for applying makeup, skin routines, and hair care, making it easier for us girlies to feel pretty!

One thing I have been on such a huge hunt for lately is a hair product, specifically my shampoo and conditioner, that will help me in all my problem areas! My hair grows SO fast, so keeping up with my dead ends and color fade can be a real pain in the a** sometimes.

So when I heard of Function of Beauty I was immediately intrigued. It is basically a hair care brand that allows you to completely customize your shampoo/conditioner as well as some other products!
By customize I mean you can choose the fragrance of the product, color, size, profile of your hair, and all your hair goals! The brand is also free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, gluten, and is vegan and cruelty-free.

The website is super user friendly and is actually a super fun process, I couldnt wait for my package to arrive! Function of Beauty allows you to choose up to 5 hair goals. I chose anti-aging, shine, color protection, volumize, and oi-control.

After just my first use, I kid-you-not I felt a drastic change! My hair felt more light and airy (voluminous), and was extremely easy to style, my hair usually does not want to stay straight. 
The real question you are probably asking is...well, did it meet your hair goals?

Great Question! Lets start with Anti-Aging.
Something I can shamefully admit is that I grow gray hairs like crazy! Im not sure if this is something that I was born with in my genes or if its the crazy amount of stress I deal with daily...probably both. One thing I can say for a fact is that I can tell me hair feels weightless, where as before, my hair felt dull and lifeless.

Color Protection.
One thing I really like about this brand is that you have the option of getting purple shampoo, which helps maintain those lighter colors in your hair. I did not purchase the purple shampoo, but I can definitely tell me hair is slightly lighter than before!

Oil-Control.
Every.Woman.Needs.Oil.Control. I mean especially for those business woman who need to quickly run out the door in the morning and spray pounds of dry shampoo on their head. Quit that! This is one feature of Function of Beauty that you MUST have in your shampoo, because it works wonders!

Shine and Volumize.
I threw these two in my hair goals because um...who doesn't want shiny voluminous hair? I always blow dry my hair after showing and the very first time after using my customized products the results were crazy! My hair took about 5 minutes less to dry and I could immediately tell the difference in volume.

So, long story short. Do not be afraid of changing your beauty habits up. Find what works best for you. If a $3.99 bottle of shampoo from your local Walmart works for you, you do you girl! I cant argue with a good bargain. Or go out of your comfort zone and totally customize your routine.
